Assuming that soon to be sainted Brooks is actually dead, if he had not possessed the taser then it would be clear cut, unwarrented execution.

But, the taser.

The obvious, primary and most important question is, how did Rayshard Brooks acquire the taser?

The first step I would take is have each officer submitted to at least two in depth, independent, disinterested psyche analysts to determine if one or both officers had a desire to kill, at some level, and to determine if one or both officers exhibited any psychopathic markers. All analysts must be blinded to each other.

So, was the taser presented to Brooks or not, and if so by whom and why?

Without this step being successfully completed there is absolutely no just foundation for this case to stand on.

This is not a judgement of any concerned. This is simply a common sense first step.
