Well in the article it keeps talking about a backdoor in a single user's mailbox as seen here.

"Our friends at Heise reported auf Deutsch that a court in Germany last month ordered Tutanota to help investigators monitor the contents of A USER'S encrypted mailbox. The site has until the end of the year to add functionality to perform this surveillance."

yea well it just happens to be that USER'S mailbox,
is mine.

The red bar in Tutanota notifies you if the connection is secure and it doesn't come off now, so obviously that backdoor is there and its my mailbox they are talking about.

Usually if the red bar is there you dont get message updates or other messages if looking at them because no contact with server.

Well my messages come up fine so it has to be showing my connection being intercepted.

Guess its time to wipe it and make a new one.

ahhaha will make them issue court orders till the cows come home, and I can tell you the cows have been gone for years.

Wow things just get more interesting.

Obviously shows were on the right path.
