This entire Texas grid fiasco is the result of murder and manslaughter for profit while destabilizing Texas.

An enormous amount of bullshit is going to be generated to cover these obvious facts.

At one time petro fields had local generating stations to supply the fields. It became much more convenient, and cheaper, to supply needs from the grid and it was more socially acceptable green than countless generators running 24-7 across the state.

So, now the grid stutters, the pumps go down and it becomes a self damning green joke swirling into oblivion.

You may have guessed that I live in Texas. On the coast actually.

Unexpected weather is another bullshit lie that has gained traction, as if cold was unimaginable.

Any idiot can look at the weather patterns for the last few decades and surmise that the arctic circulations are moving south. It is inevitable that one or more will make it into and even past Texas. We got lucky on this one. It could easily gone sub-zero down into Mexico and lasted for days. If an idiot can see it then public servants have no excuse to not see it.
