The intent of the gold repatriation is so that Texas will issue a gold backed currency based on the reserves in their vaults. It would be a debt-free currency, as Texas law would prohibit Texas from loaning the gold out to anyone. Thus depositors could store their gold in Texas vaults as well.

A) If the Fed told Germany it would take at least seven years to return Germany's gold to Germany, how long will it take for Texas to get its gold from the Fed's vaults?

B) This is going to start a firestorm. It may be kept under wraps and out of the media, but the establishment will soon declare war on Texas (not a shooting war, perhaps, but everything short of it). The Fed cannot allow anyone to issue and use debt-free currency. It would destroy the Fed's monopoly on money creation in the U.S., and the prosperity that would result from using an honest currency would be the beginning of the end for The Fed and the private Central Banking system around the world.
