If this is the very best that Harper can do to try and discredit Mulcair,
accusing him of considering working with him nearly 10 years ago,
then Harper might as well hang up his hat right now

knowing that this CBC site is a taxpayer funded site
and anyone can write in

Mulcair has flirted with both the Liberals and Conservatives
before becoming the leader of the NDP
who supposedly will do away several sectors of Government
starting with the Senate

You give Harper way to much blame and credit
at the rate this election is going
and the polls are correct
Mulcair will have to decide
if he is left or right
based on the economic flavor of the day or week
It will be interesting to say the least
or come election time
according to your comment
a whole bunch of people will hold their noses
and vote the devil they know as opposed to
the one they don't
