Hey folks. Just a quick rant. Yeah, I know. China is the new superpower, vying to take over the world. It's not going to happen. Look at the history.

Mao allowed the Chinese Nationalists to fight the Japanese Empire while the Communists hid, then took over a power vacuum after the war. Mao had no problem watching his people die for the next 25 years while trying to impress the Soviets. Mao is still venerated by the CCP and the people.

Ping initiates an economic boom and allows the people to make money on their own. Xi goes along with these policies, until it becomes evident that democratic principles, like liberalism, free press, free speech, individual wealth, etc. don't fit the CCP agenda.

Xi is venerated by the people, just like Mao. But the people have already tasted freedom, and Xi wants to severely limit it. So, how long before the cycle repeats itself?

China will never become the leader of the world because they have given a little bit, then they pulled the rug out from under their people. The same happened to Russia after the Soviet Union.

China may sabre-rattle for a bit, but their people know that they will lose what they have eventually, unless they stand up and push the CCP out of existence. The Russians tried to ease out of the Soviet system, but they allowed a strongman to control the government. Xi is the same. Impressing the world with modernization, as well as trying to 'save face,' only goes so far.

The Chinese people ARE China...not the dictatorial CCP and Xi. The people will not stand pat for the nonsense and bad deal being given to them. But the big picture is how China is perceived by the world.

After WWII, the United States made a deal with the world. We will help you build by our example. It wasn't an empirical deal. If they took an initiative, they could aspire to be like the United States. That's what make the U.S. different than any other country in world history.

Now look at China. No one trusts them. The world sees China for what it truly is. A bully and a liar. China will never be the world's dominant power. Not by a longshot. Every country in the world has benefited from the U.S. How? The U.S. has allowed free and open trade to flourish because of its military and ideals. Very simple. Worldwide free trade has benefited every country in the world because the U.S. made it possible by keeping shipping open worldwide. China is nothing without a free and powerful United States. Every country in the world is nothing without a free and powerful United States. It's simple logic and proof that China will NEVER dominate the world.

And never forget. China allowed Covid-19 to spread throughout the world...by lying to every world government. They also are social pariahs by enslaving and dominating their own citizens. How would they treat non-Chinese if they were allowed to gain world dominance? Just my thoughts. Lon
