I figured I should try to log in and post a response, as multiple people were noticing that I was not posting CGI posts. Nor anything else.. I had hoped to keep this lil adventure quiet, that's not working out.

I came down sick with what I assumed was a bad flu or one of the various covid crap-variants before Christmas. The 22nd I woke up in extreme pain each time I breathed in. Silly me thought it was from Holiday cleaning earlier that day... Holidays were canceled... Over the next week I got progressively worse and when a friend came over to check on me, he drove me to he ER after watching me attempt to go to the bathroom by myself. I was out of it with infection..

Tests, tests and more tests showed three pockets of infection. One was inside the lower right lung. ... Bummer, in walks a thoracic, cardio-pulmonary Surgeon to tell me he needs to do surgery asap.. 9 days in the hospital.. The rest has been recovery at home .. .. My three children have been a godsend. They've worked 'remote' from my office, cooked, babysat me and my dog, cleaned and in the case of my daughter, helped me bathe ... The diagnosis is fantastic but its taking time to recover.... Hobie has graciously been doing both of our jobs.. TY HOBES!!

I'll be back at it soon. He removed about 1/3 of the stitches and staples, the rest come out in 1 1/2 weeks..
