The you have Russia and China sparring over the southern Texas border while every biped down to Antarctica floods north into Texas as a preinvasion to save troops and ammo for the real invading powers.

Don't forget our good friend Trudeau, to the north. He would give everything to preserve our republic while all eyes are focused south.

The east and west coasts of the US will be open due to intense interest in the south central reality show.

That leaves the American Texas border. DC would have to invade to protect the other states. Do you really think DC would just go home when the threat abated? Or might they declare Texas a threat and unleash the carpetbaggers?

Every other person you meet on the street would be someone's spy. Half of the planet would like a piece of Texas, right in the middle of America and so would half of the American state governments. Can you say wild west?

And, when the dust settles, the chosen will be on top in their usual less than visible way.
