For those with half a brain, and those WILLING TO WORK. It means greater freedom, but less convenience, and a healthier lifestyle. There will be more land for agriculture, more personal freedom since I see centralised gubments going away, and perhaps more of a return to barter. I suspect a more communal mindset for those who choose (Chose? What did they sign up for before they got here?) to survive this mess. Rebuilding ain't gonna be easy.

Me thinks life will be more like the Amish, though hopefully without their religious restrictions. They don't want the public to know too much, but isn't that the case with most religions?

Hopefully the survivors will recognise the Cosmic Importance and value of the plant and animal kingdom, and not exploit/abuse it like in the present time.
