imho, Cathars knew that the sex drive was strong and encouraged anal sex or other forms of sex over reproduction sex. So much of their faith was lost when the church did slash and burns through France and Bulgaria.. They even killed catholics that lived in the area, just in case they were tainted by the Cathars..

One thing that puzzles me is their adherence to not eating procreated food.. Anyone can see that plants have sex, too. The male portion of the flower is the pollen loaded stamen, while the egg-holding pistil is the female part....

Some plants sprout bisexual flowers ... but plants like squash grow separate male and female flowers.. still others have both bisexual and single-sex flowers.... All of nature is a male/female energy reproduction. ...
