Nothing to be alarmed about. Some stock prices might change. Perhaps a couple of class-action lawsuits, IF there are any honest lawyers on Earth.

Forwarded the following to various news organizations, including St. Petersburg Times:

I have iron-clad proof of a hack into all major internet browsers, including the open-source Firefox browser. The hack redirects PayPal's "Donation" buttons to the site viglink.com.

My father suggested your paper was the best newspaper in Florida, and I am currently in Lakeland, Florida, so I am contacting you as well as other news organizations.

The hack is easily explainable to non-technical people and shows that code inside the internet browsers are redirecting PayPal traffic to a site called viglink.com. The URL is redirected by browser code, while the link appears to be directed towards PayPal.

I have 30 years of software experience, from programming the Commodore 64 when I was 14 years old to becoming a software architect at Morgan Stanley in NYC.

I'm available for further information and consultation. FYI, I reported the incident to PayPal in 3 calls and 3 emails. One call was genuine and we got cut off. Another call had too much static on the line, and the 3rd call was an entire fraud. No response on the emails.

PS. It literally would take 10-15 programmers to hack those browsers and the hack has apparently been there for years.
