One thing I found, when researching ancient manuscripts, was the prevalence of pedophilia and incest.. Not to mention child sacrifice. Was rather shocking until I researched bloodline rulers.. (many years ago)..

Prostitution (the world oldest profession) was rampant in many cultures and they used 'sex slaves' to fill the ranks. The conquistadors were horrified by the widespread acceptance of homosexuality, and pedophilia among Mesoamerican and South American peoples.
