This has gotten complex, as part of our interchange has happened in email when I thought it would go right here. So I will start my response again and include comment on your second response that wasn't posted...
I think if you find it exciting to read the Dec. of Ind. out loud with others that is fine, but only if it is fun, not to change the world. I realize you have a lot of excitement for change; so do I. But your response seems to indicate that you would try to change people's minds to get the world to change, and that you are planning to have to keep doing this year after year, if I read you correctly.
I wouldn't plan for next year that way. I am planning to have an awakening now.
That's why I told you I felt what you have in mind is labor-intensive and counter-productive. I think I may have responded with a little too much force though, but you seem to be creating process, not solution.
So, if you are moved to do stuff like that, then by all means follow your heart. I prefer to work internally and share a bit here and there as I am moved.
