A friend said this to me in an email about how the government was taking us into wars: "How should we respond to their using us as pawns in such a manner.. What are your core thoughts?"

my answer;
I am disgusted with our government overall. We have a lot of good patriots in the military and they are being used as pawns on a chess board.

The citizen is also being used and expected to go along with whatever the government wants. It is also set up so we can no longer keep their powers in check or make an effective protest for change. They have hijacked the government for themselves, and are enriching their bank accounts. They are perverting the Constitution and exercise their own interpretations on how this government should be run.

My conclusion is it is too late to make a change, to vote the right ones in, or to prevent the government from taking us down the road to disaster. Our only options now is to develop options for emergencies - if we have the time and money to do so. The patriots in the patriot movement the last 25 years felt there was something wrong and wanted to see a change. But it didn't happen. The wisest thing to do now is to avoid confrontation, don't openly protest and quietly prepare for political and economic chaos. Only a certain percentage of the nation is awake. The others will wake up too late and will play no part in any actions to protect themselves.
