It's 104 (40 for you Cath)today in Mid America !!

That's a mighty strong heatwave that far north.. We get all of the humidity that blows up from the Gulf of Mexico so it just feels like you can cut the air with a knife.. Like thick, hot pudding lol..

HC That's very hot for Northern Cali too. A friend of mine (in Montana) says the heat draws out more rattlers .. Is that true??

My tomatoes are not doing too well but the zukes & squash are holding on .. Green onions are wilting but Basil is good..

Off to water the veggie garden, flowers and plants.. Only the roots..
