Do you recall seeing cartoons or any slapstick comedy where someone is out on a limb and saws off the limb between themselves and the tree? The person is portrayed as being dumb and totally oblivious to what they are doing or what the consequences are.
This is a portrayal of many of the policies of the Democratic Party. For example, they want to reduce violence, but then want to ban guns instead of allowing more people to have the right to defend themselves. They want jobs for all but then push to allow millions of illegal aliens to come into and remain in America, taking many jobs, plus they want to increase the number of foreign nationals allowed in on a work visa to take jobs that belong to American citizens....
