We had discussed a decrease in conversation on the site. I would like to present a possible reason for that, and get your thoughts, if you please.

I often find myself in discussion of topics presented in the forum but discussion is not with a physical presence. That presence is clearly not myself. I would bet a whole quarter that you have had this same experience, and probably some others in the forum.

If the other presence is/are members or readers of the forum then that may indicate that the spirit of the forum has become advanced enough so that print is not necessary in some cases. An aether net, so to speak.

If this is true then that would be a good thing with a drawback, that being that anyone who is not “tuned” to the forum spirit would be missing conversation.

I would like to get your thoughts on this, if I might, as well as the thoughts of other members and readers.
