Unfortunately such a one day strike is meaningless.
I strike must go one until issues are resolved.

These same people will scream for government to give them relief when it is the government (belief that authority is legitimate.) that is at the root of the problem.

Strikes, boycotts and shunning are vary powerful tools against tyranny but it must be used by a significant majority of people.
Imagine the wife of any government "Official" or policy enforcer being refused service at the gas station, or store. How long would the powers that should not be have power if no one would do any business with them or their families?

The most powerful weapon against those who claim to rule you are two words. This weapon can not be used by those in power against those of us in the Peasant Class.

Those two words are: "I won't"

Free markets are the answer.
Where there is government, there are no free markets.
