Maybe it fits here in some way, "It is this ability of the Faerie to span the Chasm between Heaven and Hell." I'm not absolutely sure, but I think it's from Milton's Paradise Lost. Should that be interpreted as forming some kind of bridge? I took that quote as a description and a challenge in some way. Yes, maybe a hero's journey, and there are so many unique ones - I don't think any other kind is truly possible, even if parts of it are shared with others.
