More people are leaving California than arriving as the state reels from devastating wildfires that only worsen by the year, power outages, poor air quality, and a burgeoning cost of living.

The California dream may be fading as the idyllic oceanfront state sees warming temperatures, burning blazes, challenges in controlling the coronavirus pandemic, and sky-high real estate prices.

Monica Gupta Mehta and her husband said that this year’s furious fires that darkened the skies over their Palo Alto home made them consider moving their family elsewhere.

'For the first time in 20-something years, the thought crossed our minds: Do we really want to live here?' Mehta said to the Washington Post.

Not that I think I have enough time to enjoy it, but I say GOOD RIDDANCE for the sake of those who stay. Less traffic, cheaper rent/housing, hopefully a bunch of unused buildings will be torn down if they ain't already burnt up by our friendly neighbourhood psychopaths known as blm, antifa, what ever. It will be nice to get rid of some of the eyesore clutter. Bring back more open space, plant more trees, more small scale agriculture.

Ahhhhhhh, the days when we had all the orchards. WWOOFing to the future everywhere! Those were/will be the days. Prob'ly after the new era is settled. If my sources are right, 'round 2026. Of course I really don't think I'm gonna be here. I don't have the knowledge, resources or even give a shoite about surviving the transition of eras. After all, no matter how good it gets here, there's still nothing but limitations here as opposed to the Otherside.
