Long ago, when my friend was in the Navy, a group of us went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.. What a wild place.. She had booths, on the sidewalks reserved for us, and we could reach out and touch the floats.. We even wound up on a 'Live From New Orleans, it's Saturday Night' Skit.. !! We wound up at O'Briens and ordered the famous Hurricane drinks.. Not such a good idea.. Talk about a hangover. I still have the hurricane glasses.. :-)
