I like the term two spirited as well.. I think that's why I remembered that name when you mentioned it..

I know the Greeks had MANY diagrams of men being women etc.. Especially at Ho-house temples..

In Sumerian texts (and I can't remember which one) There is a prayer to Iananna (Isis-Ishtar) and she is asked to turn a man into a woman and a woman into a man..

Inannas Temples employed Trannies or at the very least male prostitutes who dressed as women..
