oddly but true
I was just rehashing a bit of my
religious background
I was thinking about how gentle
it can be and on the other side
it condones things if provoked
supposedly

and I reflect on my own culture and
religious aspects of what I was raised

to believe in

Here is why this reflection is taking place

I believe yoga is a stress reliever
and Hinduism is a religion
one of mine is a totally qualified yoga teacher
with a B. of Communications
She's been to India
she is a neat chick

I get yoga
and I get what I was raised with
many in my family have served and
serve today to look after their own
and they have served beyond our family
eg: My Mother goes to the nursery home
a couple of times a week to visit people
who never have a family member come and visit
but from conversation; know that there is family
An Aunt who delivered "Meals on Wheels"
for 35 years
I asked her why she did that, that long
she had the same route for years
and when she saw one of the people in need
she through her church would see that these
people had a little extra help of helping hand

so, back to my daughter
she every now and then will bring up
something about Yoga and its being
which I can and can not say for sure
can hit a raw nerve with me
I'm like; I"m not willing to listen wholly to
your sometimes way of thinking
without you listening to mine

(sorry any sp and gram at this point
I'm rambling)

so, that news article up above
is " Wow did you miss the boat"

how could the Premier of British Columbia
put a Yoga day and shut down a bridge in Vanc.
on National Aboriginal Day
while the whole National News in Canada is
about Residential Schools and abuse
and underfunded Reserves and broken treaties
and many many more atrocities

You know what real pisses me off
Is when immigrants coming to Canada
get treated better than the original habitants
and start treating the original natives as
third class citizens

and I'm gonna shut-up
for the sake of making my point

all is being prostituted at the moment
at what level of prostitution I am
