They are, mostly... vapid Possessed shells, sports figures, AND... corporations. They are ALL remotely controlled entities. These are the models for very large numbers of people. What you emulate, you EVENTUALLY become a reflection of.
Humanity has fallen into either a deep sleep or a restless dream state. Operating at the same time as this, and resonating up from deeper depths comes The Awakening. This is distressing news to the sleepers and dreamers.
