Clif is advocating the noosphere. The second excerpt is plainly a threat to comply or die. The first is the system that makes the threat.

Now, I don't care about Kerry Cassidy but the following quote is from a man who hallucinates and talks to bugs and then says that these imaginary bugs are a powerful external influence on humanity.

Clif also believes that covid 19 is real when the facts say it is not and therefore it has harmed no one. A belief in an imaginary virus or a bug could be described as floundering in woo or fantasy.

A really serious problem with a large intellect is that it can develop a semblance of sentience. It can become quasi-sapient. If elevated above servant it can perform a subtle takeover of the individual and gain access to will. It becomes an avatar. The shit can get mixed up pretty bad when the avatar runs the show.

The intellect tends to plow itself into a deep furrow and then forget that there is a thousand acres of pasture right up there. It tends to crave rules and order and to shun meaningless play. It needs reason to exist because it is a servant and so it creates reasons to exist. It can't just wander around the playground and have fun. The idea that this uni(one)verse is an endless playground without some serious dense meaning is deeply disturbing to intellect escaped from servitude.

Intellect likes to present itself as intelligence, but it is not. Intellect is data. Intelligence is what one can do with an amount of intellect in possession in regard to an exact set of circumstances. There can be standard test for intellect but there can be no standard test for intelligence.

Intellect concerns material and is based in biology. It abhors death because it is temporary. It seeks salvation and perpetuation in technology and science. It deceives itself by proclaiming that sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Technology is it's savior. That's the only savior it can have because it can't know the magic of existence.

It tends to anchor it self to things it perceives as permanent and strong. Could be a god or nature or science or universe. Could be one or more of a lot of things that seem permanent and strong. It is haunted by a biological sense of beginning and end for itself and rightfully so.

Intellect has been the ring in man's nose for as long as man has had a nose. Once you get man to identify as intellect-avatar he becomes conscious of finality and therefore manageable by subtle hope and fear. The intellect-avatar will do what it can to perpetuate itself. Noosphere promises a degree of biological continuity through technology, which is hope. The avatar will promote that.

For the christian types this is the meaning of the man who divested himself of all material belongings to purchase a pearl of great value. The layers of pearl are the intellect escaped from servitude and become avatar while the grain of sand at the center is the real man. He salvaged himself.

One might observe from a distance that Kerry and Clif are both plowed in pretty deep, as are many other popular alt types.
