I have a question for god.

A long time a go god predicted two things, people would be blasting aliens through their doors with shotguns and UV radiation would become so strong at ground level that protective clothing and eye wear would be required to avoid being burned and blinded. (UV-C is beginning to hit the ground now. The atmosphere is not able to shield against it anymore.)

If these predictions were anywhere near correct then "rebuilding the world" hinges entirely on a solution to these two predictions.

Are these predictions correct and if so does god actually have a solution or "But, like I say, your choice. Where to begin... and how to proceed. All yours. We’ll be waiting..."

I just have to wonder why god would hand off such responsibility to mere mortals when the two most important predictions he made are unaccounted for?

As far as most everything else, people work things out. People are good at that, especially if left alone to do it.
