I get so sick of reading about the so called virtues of the so called Founders of this Country. People are believing the government version of what has been indoctrinated in the Public Fool system. Those so called founders almost to a man just wanted the power for themselves and not to a king across the Pond. Even Sam Adams of beer fame was willing to sick the power of the State on the people in Shea's Rebellion.

Before you continue in your worship of the Constitution, read the "Anti-Federalist Papers". Read Lysander Spooner's "Constitution of No Authority", #1, #2 and especially #6. As far as I can find, there is no 3, 4, or 5. Everything you think you know about the founding of this Country is a lie or twisted from what really happened. When I get some spare money, I need to order "Hologram of Liberty" by Kenneth Royce (aka Boston Teaparty). There he shows how the beloved Constitution was drafted 6 weeks before the Convention and shoved down the throats of the Delegates. The Constitution before the "Bill of Rights" was added actually gives to the Government all the power to do what ever it wants to us. Most people only refer to the fist ten Articles when they talk about the Constitution. According to what I read in "American Aurora" the Constitution was nearly a carbon copy of the Constitution of England at the time.

An interesting Sci-Fi story by L. Neil Smith "The Probability Broach" has the main character blown through a portal into a parallel universe where George Washington lost the 'Whiskey Rebellion'. The Country went back to the Articles of Confederation. The Country was actually free and controlled by a Free Market and not a meddling violent hierarchy.
