… before I get into whatever it is that we will talk about today, and in the spirit of what I just said, I would like to clarify my take on people who are gay. I have had close gay friends all my life. Some of them have more class and spirituality than I have found in other men and women. They are generally tortured by the lifestyle. Down deep where you can't see it... it hurts.

I honestly do not care whether one loves the opposite sex or... their own sex... in a physical way. That is a private matter and should remain private. When it's turned into exhibitionism... I don't want to watch. It is even worse when it becomes proselytizing; when it includes grooming... recruiting, and the despoliation of innocence.

Quite a number of my favorite writers; Somerset Maugham... C.S. Forster, and Gore Vidal for example... were gay. I don't know what they are now that they have moved on.
