For a long time I've started my day with MSN just for the basic news and spin from the MSM. Today a headline caught my eye and here is the link, I couldn't copy from the website.

The headline read Trump's Apocalypse America Tour. I did a search on "Apocalypse America Tour" and the only reference anywhere was this article. Trump doesn't call it that, nowhere else is such a title mentioned. But the article is referenced on numerous sites. It originated on this site.

Go take a look. It's the spin of liberalism echo chamber. Every rational reason why Trump is evil and Kamala is a savior and how wonderful a job and way forward the new world will be. Better. Because what we have now doesn't work. We're destroying our planet and other species and we have to work to save ourselves by sacrificing for the greater good. This is the true double speak.
I have the unusual opportunity of waiting tables in a small Ohio town in Jim Jordan country that has a liberal arts college known throughout the world for it's music program. The entire town is in go green mode and normal reading is the New Yorker as many from New York travel there often, or work there as many alumni do. There is an eclectic population of students although there seem to be quite a bit fewer Chinese this year. In the last month or so I've waited on a mother and daughter from Seattle, who commented on how clean it was, to soccer families from the greater DC area and Michigan, Chicago is common, and a beautiful young lady from a small town in Texas 30 miles from the border. Youthful exuberance and wonder at the world makes this old man have hope for the future.
To get back to my original point, they believe their world view as much as we believe ours. I have a theory about educators. It's easy to spot them in the restaurant. They assume that they are the most important person you are waiting on. It comes from years of talking to people who have to listen to them. They assume everyone else does too. Their verbal sparring and vying for the attention of the table with their erudite commentary on how to further their own agenda is eye opening. Anyone who feels that academia isn't competitive is fooling themselves. Their daggers are words and persuasion in the quest for the dollars of their sponsors to do their bidding while living a life of quiet comfort having never soiled their hands. They, in their own world, are their authority.
Using Clif High's theory as to the breakdown of authority in hyper novelty, my observations are that a lot of these people aren't going to make it. There are going to be severe mental and emotional shocks to their reality that they may not be able to adjust to. I don't see them rioting, but when their world falls apart Humpty Dumpty may not be able to be put back together again. They know something's not right and are starting to show some signs of distress, like spouting out random facts about their area of expertise that have no context in normal conversation. It's as if repeating things they know to be true are a comfort and place of sanctuary in their minds. I've had a few people point out that our website is wrong. The owner changes the menu seasonally and isn't always up to date. I hand them the menu, tell them the website isn't up to date and they still want to order something that we don't have. Even though a real person is standing in front of them telling them it's not possible they still want to believe a website. It's their authority. It's the written word, their magic, their raison d'etre. It's cognitive dissonance expressing itself randomly. Eventually, there will be a break and the result of those breaks happening suddenly without warning in a large mass of the population will make them useless and out of touch.
The kids will be fine, they'll adjust, and the musicians won't even notice. God bless them they are in their own world of making wonderful harmonies.
But even though I've read the Rumor Mill since before Y2K and like to think I can't be surprised anymore and I'm flowing with light and raising my frequency while creating my reality in the echo chamber of my own mind I hear the dissonant chord of our collective reality softly rising towards a crescendo and remind myself that no matter what I think I know it's not my plan. I remind myself not to choke on the popcorn; hubris can be deadly if it makes you unaware. Because we may not wind up just watching the show but find our part in the play to be deadly serious. Ask North Carolina. We may find ourselves to be Burn's mouse in the field whose plans, like those of men, go awry.
May you be guided in your plans and flexible on the outcome with faith in the divine as you experience the change for some ungodly reason we decided to take part in. Ride the eye of storm if you can, it's the safest part just don't ask me how to find it. Be grateful and kind unless kicking ass is warranted. If all else fails practice Ho'oponopono.
