The people killed were not Semitic. However... the people that Israel (which is populated by people who are also not Semitic) are killing is an entire nation of people who are Semitic. The horrors that these invaders of Palestine have wreaked upon Palestinians are similar (but not in scale) to what their relatives did to The Russian Christian population in Russia previous to The Second World War, which another branch of their relatives also orchestrated for… material… gain.
