Is this some new and ultra-deft sleight of hand, masked as bombastic, self-fellating grandiosity? What kind of leader of a nation campaigns with a song about gay sex... between young men and an endless flow of anonymous strangers... at the YMCA... which stands for Young Men’s Christian Association? This is not the sort of leader that Lao Tzu speaks about, except where he mentions that the worst of leaders are mocked and made fun of, and no one respects them.
He said that the greatest of leaders barely appear to exist; the country is well-ruled, and the populace is hardly aware of him. It goes downhill from there, and we wind up with what we have now. Nobody... except others like them… enjoys the company of a braggart... who repeats the same tired phrases over and over again, as if he is speaking to a collection of mental defectives, which could well be the case.
