If people realized just how real God is, and how incredibly close God is, and… more importantly, how true the realness and the closeness are; how employable they are… how comprehensible and all-inclusive… how multifarious and unlimited, they would have little interest or inclination in the study or experience of anything else.
They would soon come to understand that everything in their lives... up until the point of this realization... was nothing more than a collection of impulses and reactions... without any enduring relevance or meaning. It was all just Nature acting out, AND… without actual command of that process, you are a hapless pinball, caroming off of bumpers, while lights go on and off, and numbers flash on the screen… meaning, what?
If only people were to understand how fundamental the presence of God is to everything else, that would be their chief concern going forward, or... standing still… for that matter.
However, there is this resistance in the mind, and it is somewhat welded to one’s perceptions with a particular fear; the fear of losing one’s identity in something much larger and seemingly unfathomable. That is actually… THE object of desirous quest, BUT it comes off as something scary because it is… unknown.
