It is so frustrating to watch Trump trying to deal with the Ukraine war with Russia. On one hand he has Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, which country has clearly won this war, and on the other he has a bunch of warmongering, Russia hating psychopaths who refuse to accept the fact that this war, which they wanted so dearly to use to destroy Russia and break that country into pieces, is lost. The fact of the matter is that the idea that Ukraine with the backing of NATO and a bunch of miscreants in the US State Department could win a ground war against Russia and its very capable and large military is ludicrous.
Why is Trump treating the governments (and the people leading them) that are controlling the Zelensky puppet regime with any dignity at all? These people deserve no respect...they demanded that Ukraine accept war with Russia and now with Ukraine in ruins and a large proportion of its population lost, they continue to applaud the carnage. The so-called, now unelected leader of Ukraine, Zelensky, is hated by his people and blamed for the needless destruction of his country, yet he persists to pursue war at his controllers' behest...damn the people or the country of Ukraine!
The NATO countries in collaboration with US government neocons broke every treaty and pledge made to Russia regarding the neutrality of Ukraine since the breakup of the Soviet Union. When the US CIA overthrew a Russia friendly government in Ukraine in 2014 and installed a government clearly hostile to Russia and to the Russian populations of eastern Ukraine, the die was cast. The West, led by the neo-cons and NATO Russia-phobes were determined to turn Ukraine into a hostile entity aimed squarely at the heart of Russia. Among the atrocities committed by these people was the creation of 54 bioweapon research facilities inside Ukraine with the express purpose of developing genetically "appropriate" bioweapons to wipe out the Russian population.
Then the demonization of Vladimir Putin began. We were told that he is crazy, a monster getting ready to roll his tanks across Western Europe, a demon who must be stopped at Ukraine or the rest of world is his oyster! Now they are saying that the Russian economy has been devastated by the war and the only reason that Putin continues to prosecute the war is to save his own skin because he is so hated by his people for starting the war in the first place. It's all a lie. The Russian economy is doing just fine, thank you very much, and if anything, the Russian people are mad at Putin for not just going in and doing what he could have done from the beginning: crush Ukraine and take the down the people who caused the war in the first place.
The way for this sorry mess to be resolved is for some adult in the room, namely Donald Trump, to turn to the jerk wads who caused this war to happen in the first place, namely the NATO country leaders and US neocons, and tell them in no uncertain terms that their war is lost. Russia has won the war decisively and now if there is to be a peace it will have to be on Russia's terms. That's the way of war: the winner gets to dictate the terms of peace. If they can't understand this and continue to act like the psychopaths that they are, it is incumbent upon the United States under the leadership of Donald Trump to walk away from NATO altogether and re-establish the generally civilized relationship that the USA and Russia were developing before all of this craziness started. Europe is on a military and economic suicide mission vis-a-vis Russia, and there is no way that the USA has to be a part of it.
Donald Trump is supposed to be an America firster. Vladimir Putin is definitely a Russia firster. It is time for these two primary nationalist world leaders to find common ground on a way to force the European and neo-con warmongers to accept the fact that they lost this war and that they must agree to Russia's terms for peace if there is to be a permanent resolution to the matter. That is the secret to ending the Ukraine war.
