Saigon slums. Then there's the favelas, Detroit, Camden, the slums of every other country, the falling apart of South Africa, Cairo, and countless other places.

People in these conditions tend to breed more than people who have time to think, as opposed to being focussed on just surviving another day. I'm under the impression the latter doesn't put too much importance on consequences, because there might not be any if you're not around tomorrow. The perspectives of these people is totally out of my realm of thought.

I hate high population densities, decrepit buildings, rubbish all over the place, perpetual inconvenience, waiting, throwing my time away on pointless economic black holes. I look forward to a place with fewer people, and more nature. . .if that's even relevant. After all, I am in my twilight years, thank the gods and don't have to put up with this cesspool of a planet for much longer.

I'm quite grateful I wasn't born yesterday, and in a situation where I have options to bypass most of the mortal flotsam garbage that so many seem addicted to for reasons beyond my comprehension.
