Africa: the Continent of Prayer Warriors

Africa is almost evenly split between Islam and Christianity. However, in black Africa (sub-Saharan Africa), approximately 60% of the population identifies as Christian, while 35% are Muslim. About 3% follow traditional African beliefs, and 2% identify as atheist or non-religious.

African pastors are known for performing remarkable miracles, such as raising the dead, restoring limbs and sight, and curing the sick. Despite these claims, the continent continues to face significant challenges, as it also has the highest number of sick, blind, and disadvantaged people. This raises an important question: Why don't these pastors pray for all the deprived people in Africa?

Countries like Japan, South Korea, China, and Taiwan do not predominantly practice Christianity or Islam. Does this mean their populations will face eternal damnation? Western Europe has also seen a decline in religious belief, with the fastest-growing segment in the United States being the religiously unaffiliated, often referred to as the "nones." Will all of these people be condemned to hellfire?

Interestingly, some of the most transparent countries in the world—such as Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Canada, and Norway—are largely irreligious. Should the people in these nations also fear hellfire? In contrast, the least transparent countries tend to be the more religious ones located in Africa. Does that mean they will all go to heaven?
