From Judyth Baker,
"Rafael Cruz, "Ted" Cruz's father, may have been working with the CIA with Lee Oswald in New Orleans. After applying some forensic data, a comparison of the younger Rafael Cruz with the Trade Mart figure in New Orleans, e.g.,receding hairline pattern, slant of eyebrows, profiles of Cruz that are available, nasal type, ear size and supraorbital bone structure, this seems to be Cruz, who, it turned out. waited several years while living in New Orleans before registering in 1969 for the Selective Service (which is a criminal act on the ;level of a misdemeanor).
I had resisted identifying Cruz as one and the same as the Trade Mart figure because he wasn't tall enough (his SS card said he was 6' 0") and I had assumed he had registered upon arrival (but he failed to do so), which was in 1969. Instead, Cruzx waited some seven more years to register, and then avoided the draft by heading to Canada.
Further, the stated height on his card is 6' 0" --which threw me off, for the man in the Trade Mart photos is about the same height as Lee Oswald, who was 5' 9" tall.
But wait.
Lee placed 5' 11" as his height on his non-civilian documents. It was clearly too tall, but Lee told me he deliberately had conflicting records, which helped protect him in his work with the ONI and CIA. . And it seems that's what Cruz might have done that, too. (We really need to know Cruz' current height, which could be up to an inch shorter than when he was that young).
There is some additional evidence that Cruz was working for the CIA. If this is Cruz, he has done a disservice to his (at last) adopted country by failing to identify Lee Oswald as working alongside him in the CIA. That means he was willing to comply with the cover-up that targeted Lee as Kennedy's assassin.
There are many hidden aspects in Cruz' life that do not line up. That would be typical of an agent --just as a number of documents and records concerning Lee also don't add up. Just as did Lee at one time, Cruz supported Castro and went on record as supporting him. As both young men soon learned, Castro but by then, switched to communism, they both were also in a position to successfully pretend that they still supported Castro. This would be enough to place them both at the Trade Mart, if all pof the above turns out to be true.
I was criticized some years ago for telling NOLA newsman Mr. Johan Rush that Lee said he told his helpers who passed out HANDS OFF CUBA flyers to dress well --to wear a white shirt and a tie--as Rush quickly showed that one 'helper' --who has since been identified -- was also wearing Bermuda shorts. He proclaimed that I should have noticed that, if I had been there, even though I am a short woman and only got a glimpse of these people, Lee having told me to leave before any filming began.
Rush never mentioned in his public rebuke of me that all three men wore white shirts and ties and that the second helper (never identified, who we now suspect is Rafael Cruz) did wear nice pants. What Rush also failed to mention is that people wearing Bermuda shorts in New Orleans in 1963 would not have also been wearing a white shirt and tie unless it was for a special purpose. In fact, Bermuda shorts could also be worn with a shirt and tie in a NOLA's hot climate if the shorts were nice--which those were, by the way. Rush's point as that I could not have been there because i did not spot the Bermuda shorts, despite my always having said I only got a glimpse of everyone as Lee told me to move away,
What I did see was a "bulky camera" on the neck of one or more persons and knew that had to Press -- but even the mention of the word 'bulky' was interpreted by Rush to mean that I claimed big, rolling TV STUDIO/ or BIG ON-SITE CAMERAS were involved. This was ridiculous-- Rush did not know that my father was a TV station owner and that I well knew the difference between studio and on-site cameras and the much smaller ones that were cheaper and more mobile for use on the street, my having often been filmed along with my sister on TV, singing duets, both in and out of studios.
I attach 3 photos:-one is of Cruz, apparently just before he left Cuba, and the other shows what might be Cruz, with a more receding hairline, taken at the Trade Mart. The 3rd photo shows another view of Cruz, and the 4th shows his selective service card, New Orleans, 1969. Decide for yourself.....
As for the additional photos, regarding Rush, he just wanted to discredit me however he could, and has continued to do so ever since. I attach, therefore, 3 more photos, showing a typical studio TV camera of the era such as my father used and which he also used at WGN in Chicago, then an on-site camera, then the bulky camera I glimpsed, and finally, a (Christmas 1962) typical Kodak camera, showing what i meant by 'bulky' and trusting that you, the reader, will be open-minded, Enjoy!"
