Weighty thoughts here ..

I too began to question church doctrine at an early age. My family was raised southern Baptist. Sunday school, Church, choir, bible school and more..

The first questions were when I bought a strongs exhaustive concordance (in my mid 20's) and learned many of the translations were not as they should be. The next seeking moment came when I wondered how a loving God could possibly endorse or demand the killing innocents and babies (genocide?) Why would females be guilty in the garden but man is not? Why would babies be 'born in sin,' when the baby is innocent? The final questions to fundamental Christianity came when I asked, "Why does God NEED worship?" Isn't this some form of extortion?

Many years later my thoughts have evolved and changed.. More and more questions were being asked by my soul.. What loving creator demands mortal sacrifice in order to be redeemed? Isn't that murder if we do it?

If Hell is eternal, isn't that cruel and unjust for those who would repent? What about Mercy, compassion and .. forgiveness?? Toss in a lot of scientific quests and I'm asking if this is a holographic penal colony or a meat market feeding those higher up the alien-inter dimensional food chain..??
