Mom is living at home and takes care of herself very well.. She just can't drive at night..

My father lived to be 76, his mother was 93 and my MIL is in her 90's. She is still getting around great but needs others to drive her places or take her to the Doctor.

I know what you mean though. So many younger people have been getting diseases at a younger age. .. My Niece (20's) Step Sister (40's) and a good friend (50's) all have been diagnosed with MS, recently. They are from three different branches of the family tree so the only thing in common is where they grew up. Right by Cold Water creek, in St Louis County (rural area).. People began to get curious and started to research the history of that area .. . .. They found out that it used to be a dumping zone for WWII Munitions in St Charles County, it flowed downstream and lodged in the soil. . A lot of them had radioactive waste in them..

Next time you want to hike along, or in a beautiful creek bed or small river stream.. Think about what is up-river from there.
