Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. All worship the same 'god' (demi-urge), and all got along just fine here and there; and still do, here and there. Members of my 'tribe' (Islam) from Albania integrated into u.s. life quite fine. They cause no trouble, and they don't mess with anyone. They just live, though the last I dealt with them (in the 1980s), they lived more of a 1950s lifestyle. They've probably moved away from that, being it's 30 odd years later, not that I'm going to regain contact since I have neither the time nor the desire. They were nice people, but too alien to my agendas to keep in touch. I'm too selfish with my time. I've checked out the farcebook page of my half brother a few times, and you'd never know he was Muslim. He goes as Benny, as opposed to Arben.

The mess in Europe. Would the mess exist if the west hadn't been bombing their countries into the stone age, messing with their political affairs, exploiting them, abusing their people directly or indirectly, (Google the life of a coltan minor. That's one of the worst case scenarios, and there's many more.) and forcing a system down their throats that is totally not in sync with their culture if we didn't wipe out their tribe. Europe just went in and took what it wanted, killing anyone and everyone in the way. Hey! It's the european way! Look at what they did to Turtle Island and Australia. Every last native was killed in Tasmania. Remember the Crusades? And the church killed the best of their fellow europeans in the Albigensian Crusade. The Cathars. Abject poverty and abject greed really messes people up. I'd blame what's going on more on those two issues rather than religion. Afghanistan used to be a nice place in the first half of the last century, I hear. Libya was nice, and so was Iraq. (See Layla Anwar's blog.) So were a lot of places that are now a huge mess due to israeli and western intervention.

Of course now the hostile invaders of Europe have to be destroyed if Europe is going to survive, and I assume it will happen one way or another eventually. There are some already fighting back, but the military will have to get involved big time.
