I'm in agreement with you. Who hasn't said something about their parents in a light hearted manner. Poked a lil fun at one of their quirks.. I know I have.

My Dad had black, curly hair. It was so curly it bordered on frizzy. He kept it fairly short and the ladies seemed to love it.. In all the years of being around him, I never knew my father to be vain about anything.. He hunted, fished, hiked the hills and chopped his own wood (after he retired from the Police force).. but I once saw him with my mothers mascara touching up the salt and pepper gray on his sideburns.. lol Now, this was before mascara was waterproof. All I could think of is what is he going to do if it rains?? For years we teased him about that and the boys would even wrap up some mascara to give to him on his birthday or Christmas..

I'm sure Trumps daughter meant it in the same way...

PS For my mother it was trying to re-make my NC grannies Buttermilk biscuits.. Grandma's were light and fluffy whereas my Moms were hard as a brick. Matter of fact the boys would tease her about building her a new house with them.. :-) I'm not going to tell you mine :-)
