Not long after I posted that I got a call from my snowplower who wanted to come by to get my car unstuck and clear the driveway! I told him that I could wait until Saturday for it to melt, but he insisted. He went in the opposite direction from his home as he left, so I gather that I wasn't the only one who needed additional work.
I'm still waiting for a bit more news, but in the meantime I want to be ready as soon as I find out where I'm going and without exhausting myself just before, so I've been sorting some of my unpacked -for-10-years boxes - especially the ones with replacement sweat pants and socks. Next will be going through my work boxes - any decrease in bulk would be helpful. The piano is a big question ... I have a feeling that at this point it's best to unload it, as it was intentionally damaged during one of my moves. I'll replace it when it makes sense. I haven't been able to play much at all in this condition, and still can't listen to too much music.
I know that you'll know the best time(s) to take garden pictures! In a few weeks I hope I see a little life coming up in the small beds I planted here.
S :-) (that doesn't make a yellow smiley?)
: Be careful trying to shovel that snow.. !! If you're like us,
: this time of year it snows or ices and is melted the next
: day.
: Have you picked out a new place to move to?? I hope it's on a
: lake with a glorious view or on some land that the owner
: takes care of (with a view :-) Maybe even a condo with a
: view?? At least in a condo they'd have to take care of the
: lawn and grounds..
: I'll post some pics but in a few weeks. Right now it would
: just be a pic of green/brown grass with green shoots coming
: up. Even the Hostas are beginning to peek up through the
: mulch.. In a few weeks, it will be fully in bloom..
