It's not you, its me wondering and trying to remember a Mike pondering post lol..
Forgive my brain today, it is in grandbaby overload.
Lynda
From my ongoing experiences, I have come to the conclusion
: that my brain is the “interface” between my
: Mind/consciousness and my physical body. I learned that my
: brain could be extremely handicapped, but I was still me -
: just extremely challenged if I had to interact with the 3D
: world, as I sometimes express it. Is there any real
: consciousness in my physical brain alone? I tend to think
: there isn’t.
: Is it a spiritual mind or perhaps a super consciousness above
: the purely mammalian ”instinctive” consciousness. But we’re
: learning that in many other life forms can be found
: examples of a strong sense of responsibility and even a
: conscience, if that can seen by helping even other
: lifeforms in distress - particularly the very young.
: Going back to the bell curve, would it not be possible that
: all material life has some degree of both material and
: non-material consciousness? And that in all worlds this
: bell curve exists. I remember being very excited to learn
: that our Sun has a pulse, of sorts for example. If all life
: has some degree of consciousness, what about death?
: Wouldn’t the bell curve of consciousness exist there too?
: And, if we agree with Russell, rhythmic balanced
: interchange between positive and negative is key.
: You wrote, "The warp and woof of the great cobweb of
: existence seems indeed to imply a dualistic principal in
: conjunction with a Weaver and the All."
: I cannot imagine that a weaver is needed to create the web,
: but rather that the mesh (oyster? collective
: consciousness?) is created by these two opposite forces
: within ourselves and, if we allow them to manifest, the web
: grows through that questionable reality of time.
: Will there be "time no longer” one day?
: I had a dream a long long time ago. I think it’s the oldest
: one that I remember. I was a member of a ship that was a
: short distance away from another ship. We would take turns
: diving with a lit torch, and swimming under water to light
: the other ship on fire. (Yes, I did realize at the same
: time that that action is not realistically possible but
: anyways … ) The targeted ship would sink, and then the
: reverse was done to our ship by one of their crew, and so
: on. At the end, I was running along the shore alone,
: although I think that there were a few others doing the
: same. It took me some time to more fully understand that
: dream.
: I read R.D. Laing’s Knots ( http://www.oikos.org/knotsen1.htm
: )when I was in high school, so when I came across Neil
: Douglas-Klotz’ translation of the Lord’s Prayer from the
: original Aramaic ( http://www.songofhome.com/Klotz.htm ),
: it made more sense. I’ve posted a sample below, taken from
: the book Prayers Of The Cosmos: 6. Letting Go, Heartbeat by

: (King James V version: And forgive us our debts, as we forgive
: our debtors)
: Loose the cords of mistakes binding us,
: as we release the strands we hold
: of others' guilt.
: Forgive our hidden past, the secret shames,
: as we consistently forgive
: what others hide.
: Lighten our load of secret debts as
: we relieve others of their
: need to repay.
: Erase the inner marks our failures make,
: just as we scrub our hearts
: of others' faults.
: Absorb our frustrated hopes and dreams,
: as we embrace those of others
: with emptiness.
: Untangle the knots within
: so that we can mend our hearts'
: simple ties to others.
: Compost our inner, stolen fruit
: as we forgive others the spoils of
: their trespassing.
: Loose the cords of mistakes binding us,
: as we release the strands we hold
: of others' guilt.
