I've been staying away from writing
because my words have been sharp
and somewhat cutting
and that is not me
I hear my tone
and I'm trying to figure out
how to saying things in a
fluffy duffy way while getting
my point across

I do not like to see people hurt
but life is life; or is it?

this oil industry is being dismantled
and it has been the hub for a 150 years++++
my comments of the mandatory $15.00/per hour
the Oil companies are going to comply gladly
because in Alberta and other provinces at the
moment --- you could find and oil worker
making those wages
they make way more than that!!

I have no problems with Premier Notley
she is an Albertan and her father was
a great Albertan
I totally and sincerely wish this lady well
as for the previous Premier Redford
sometimes power corrupts absolutely
it happens

even though NDP Notely is running the show
this dismantling will not be an easy task
jobs and HIGH paying jobs are at stake

Saudi Arabia stated over the weekend
they have no intention of reducing
their oil products ---- either does Russia
so there will remain a GLUT of oil

ask me how I know this
well, when your related to people
who run big companies
and you sit at family sunday dinner meetings
over the years you learn to understand
that business decision are not based always
on a bunch of pity pat
sad as that sounds
it is what it is
is it right or wrong?
these big guys understand their losses
and many times they have to make decisions
to minimizes maximum losses
and they they still come out
as looking like the greedy bastards
knowing full well that they could have
lost the whole train --- rather than just a few cars

As I write today
in the back of my mind
the US is the last bastion of
what is known as free enterprise
maybe Australia?
bring in your medical systems
free --- nothing is free
in some provinces in Canada
what they collect in taxes from taxpayers
over 50% goes to maintaining that free system
which is being touted as Universal health care
our doctors are limited to what they can charge
I have no comment on whether this is good or bad
it won't make a difference at this point

the rest of the world is trapped in this
false belief that some one will make it better

I've traveled in my life
it was disturbing to me at times
to see our so called aid; sitting on docks
not getting to those in dire need
being exploited by those who break it done
to sell on the markets of the in need countries
free market style

for some reason I just don't want to see that
happening here in North America

and today I ponder?
Am I my brother's keeper
