Morgan wins the most nutritious food, Sonar wins the most fun and the rest of us Junk food junkies need to stop eyeing the Easter Candy. Its for the Kids!! ...:-)
I love what you cooked! Why would shallots send you into orbit though ?? ... It sounds delicious but I'm not too sure about the Thai sauce. I'd have to taste it lol..
I do that often.. Just cut up veggies on hand and toss them in with an omelet. One of my favs is shredded Carrots..
I agree, Yukon are the best tasting.. especially baked.. I really like tiny red potatoes sometimes, too. Leave the skins on or just cut off part of the skins...
I use Course Kosher salt in a grinder.. It tastes so very different then regular table salt.. Sometimes I'll use sea salt..
I slice the potatoes (1/3 inch is OK) and season them with
: Flavour Mate Salt Free Original, black pepper, paprika,
: Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and cook 'em in olive oil
: and butter. I do the same with the other veggies, and I
: forgot to put capers on the list, but they get cooked in
: with the veggies. I then consolidate, throw on enough Thai
: currie sauce to cover everything up pretty well, and
: reheat. I never measure anything. I just throw in what
: feels right. Yukon Gold potatoes are the absolute best. I
: didn't have any, but if I had; I would have used shallots
: instead of onions. Shallot onions are my favourite thing to
: cook with, but boy do they send you into orbit if you put
: 'em in a salad.
: I never use salt proper. The jar of capers takes care of that
: in this case. I like Trader Joe's.
: Original post so you don't have to go between two screens:
: Curried potatoes with garlic, onions, cilantro, ginger,
: tomatoes, and spinach.
