All the pleas for 'them' to release us so we can be free, but WE have some doing to do to enable 'them' to realize that NOW IS THE TIME.

We have a clear opportunity for DOING coming up. Don't blow it again by being a passive observer simply applauding the fireworks or the games for the kiddies.

Step 1. Alert your friends and others that YOU WILL READ ALOUD THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE at whatever time and place you decide for a PUBLIC COMMUNITY READING on Tuesday, July 4th.

Step 2. Do it.

Step 3. Encourage them to show up next year (2018) when you do it again, or do it themselves in a place of their choosing for those who are close to them.

By the way, it takes less than fifteen minutes to READ it, just like they did the first time, back in Philadelphia, in 1776.

Oh yes, for me I would appreciate you sending me a brief response to this post, so we can see how far this can go. Where was it done, how many heard it, and will you do it again next year.

FYI, there were only 44 places in the country where this happened last year.

Gee, an action you can do. Without asking permission from anyone. Its a beginning.

And yes, I think 'they' will begin to get the message, toward the end we would all like to experience.
